Agreement to Terms

Welcome to TruthAGI.ai ("Platform", "Service", "we", "us", or "our"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our platform, operated by AletheionAGI, located in Florianópolis, Brazil.

By accessing or using TruthAGI.ai, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms, you may not access the Service.

By Using TruthAGI.ai, You Agree To:

  • Comply with all applicable laws and regulations
  • Use the Service only for lawful purposes
  • Respect other users and our team
  • Maintain the security of your account

1. Service Description

TruthAGI.ai is an AI-powered platform that provides:

  • Access to multiple AI models (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, and others)
  • AI response verification using AletheionGuard technology
  • Epistemic analysis and uncertainty quantification
  • Conversation management and history
  • File upload and processing capabilities
  • Voice input and transcription services
  • Credit-based usage system
  • Optional Bring-Your-Own-API-Key (BYO-Key) functionality

Note: We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time with or without notice.

2. Account Registration and Security

Account Requirements

  • You must be at least 18 years old to use TruthAGI.ai
  • You must provide accurate and complete registration information
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account
  • You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
  • One person or legal entity may maintain only one account

Security Measures

We provide the following security features:

  • Secure password hashing (bcrypt)
  • Optional Two-Factor Authentication (2FA/TOTP)
  • Session management and timeout
  • Security monitoring and audit logs
  • Email verification

3. Acceptable Use Policy

You MAY:

  • • Use AI models for legitimate personal or business purposes
  • • Upload files and documents for analysis (within size limits)
  • • Share conversations using our sharing feature
  • • Use your own API keys (BYO-Key mode)
  • • Export your data at any time

You MAY NOT:

  • • Use the Service for any illegal activities
  • • Generate harmful, abusive, or illegal content
  • • Attempt to bypass security measures or rate limits
  • • Reverse engineer or decompile the Service
  • • Scrape, crawl, or spider the platform
  • • Use automated tools to access the Service (except authorized API access)
  • • Share your account credentials with others
  • • Upload malware, viruses, or malicious code
  • • Violate intellectual property rights
  • • Impersonate others or provide false information
  • • Interfere with other users' access to the Service
  • • Use the Service to train competing AI models

4. Billing, Payments, and Credits

Credit System

  • TruthAGI.ai operates on a credit-based system
  • Credits are consumed based on AI model usage and features used
  • Different models have different credit costs
  • Verification features may incur additional costs
  • You can view your credit balance and usage history in your account

Purchasing Credits

  • Credits can be purchased using a credit card via Stripe
  • Payments are processed securely by Stripe (PCI-DSS compliant)
  • All prices are in USD unless otherwise specified
  • Optional auto-top-up can be enabled for convenience

Currency Conversion (BRL to USD)

  • Deposits in Brazilian Real (BRL) are converted to USD credits
  • Exchange rates are sourced from official market rates and updated daily
  • A 4.1% conversion fee is added to cover Stripe's international currency conversion fees
  • The final exchange rate (including fees) is displayed before payment confirmation
  • Example: If the market rate is R$ 5.30/USD, the final rate charged will be R$ 5.52/USD (5.30 × 1.041)
  • You will always see the exact conversion rate and final USD credit amount before confirming your deposit

Refund Policy

  • Credit purchases are generally non-refundable
  • Refunds may be granted on a case-by-case basis for technical issues
  • Unused credits remain in your account until used
  • No refunds for service interruptions lasting less than 24 hours

BYO-Key Mode

If you provide your own API keys (BYO-Key mode), you are responsible for:

  • Costs incurred with third-party AI providers
  • Managing your API key limits and quotas
  • Compliance with third-party terms of service

5. Intellectual Property

Our IP

TruthAGI.ai, AletheionGuard, and all related technology, trademarks, logos, and content are owned by AletheionAGI. You may not use our intellectual property without express written permission.

Your Content

You retain ownership of:

  • Your prompts and messages
  • Files you upload
  • Your account data

By using our Service, you grant us a limited license to process and store your content to provide the Service. We do not claim ownership of your content.

AI-Generated Content

Content generated by AI models may be subject to the terms of the respective AI provider (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, etc.). You are responsible for compliance with their terms.

6. Privacy and Data Protection

Your privacy is important to us. Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.

Key points:

  • We comply with LGPD (Brazil) and GDPR (EU) regulations
  • Your data is encrypted and secured
  • You have rights to access, correct, and delete your data
  • We do not sell your personal information
  • We do not use your conversations to train AI models without permission

7. Disclaimers and Limitations

AI Accuracy Disclaimer

AI models may produce inaccurate, incomplete, or misleading information. While our AletheionGuard verification system helps assess response quality, it is not infallible. You are responsible for verifying critical information independently.

Service "As Is"

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Accuracy, reliability, or completeness of AI responses
  • Uninterrupted or error-free operation
  • Security from viruses or harmful components
  • Fitness for a particular purpose

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ALETHEIONAGI SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:

  • Any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
  • Loss of profits, data, or business opportunities
  • Damages arising from AI-generated content
  • Third-party actions or content
  • Service interruptions or technical issues

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless AletheionAGI, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, or expenses arising from:

  • Your use or misuse of the Service
  • Your violation of these Terms
  • Your violation of any rights of a third party
  • Your content or conduct

9. Termination

By You

You may terminate your account at any time through your account settings. Upon termination, your data will be deleted according to our retention policy.

By Us

We may suspend or terminate your account if you:

  • Violate these Terms
  • Engage in fraudulent activity
  • Abuse the Service or harm other users
  • Fail to pay for services rendered
  • Provide false information

We will provide notice when reasonably possible, but reserve the right to terminate immediately for serious violations.

Effect of Termination

Upon termination:

  • Your access to the Service will be revoked
  • Unused credits are generally forfeited (no refund)
  • Your data will be deleted per our retention policy
  • Provisions that should survive will remain in effect

10. Third-Party Services

TruthAGI.ai integrates with third-party services, including:

  • AI Providers: OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, Moonshot AI, HuggingFace
  • Payment Processing: Stripe
  • Authentication: Various OAuth providers

Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and conditions. We are not responsible for third-party services or their content.

11. Governing Law and Disputes

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Brazil, specifically the jurisdiction of Florianópolis, Santa Catarina, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be resolved through:

  1. Good faith negotiation
  2. Mediation (if negotiation fails)
  3. Arbitration or courts in Florianópolis, Brazil (as a last resort)

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by:

  • Posting the new Terms on this page
  • Updating the "Last Updated" date
  • Sending an email notification (for significant changes)

Your continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. If you do not agree, you must stop using the Service.

13. Miscellaneous

Severability

If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect.

Entire Agreement

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and AletheionAGI regarding the Service.

No Waiver

Our failure to enforce any right or provision does not constitute a waiver.

Assignment

You may not assign your rights under these Terms. We may assign our rights to any affiliate or successor.
